Walk through the door of ‘Memories of Home’ and you will immediately understand how the shop got its name. The first words that most people use are to exclaim that they remember a certain item from their childhood, or that their Mother or Grandmother ‘had one of those’.
We stock a wide range of Vintage Homeware that includes kitchenalia, china and glassware, rugs, linen, lamps, vintage buttons, haberdashery, fabrics and furniture, some in an original condition, and some items that are painted and decorated with stencils or decoupage. The shop has a constantly changing stock, and new items are added every week.
Please feel free to come and browse our one-off Vintage, Retro and Revived items. We are a good source for gifts that are a little bit different, and if we don’t have exactly what you are looking for, we are happy to try to find it for you. You will be sure of a warm welcome, without pressure to buy.     
We are open Tuesday – Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in winter and until 5 p.m. in summer, and we also open on Bank Holiday Mondays. You will find the shop in Unit 8, at the end of the Courtyard. We look forward to seeing you!
